Non-resident Telugus donate equipment to school

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) Saudi Arabia coordinator Ravi Radha Krishna Murthy has donated LED lights, RO plant, digital classroom and school uniform to the students of MPP School and laid CC road for the colony of Srungavarappadu village, Sakhinetipalli mandal in East Godavari district.

The work has been completed and was inaugurated by MLA Gollapalli Surya Rao of Razole Constituency and Dr Ravi Vemuru, president of Andhra Pradesh Non-resident Telugu Society (APNRT) on Monday.

Murthy said he has contributed about Rs 25 lakh for undertaking various developmental works in coordination with the AP Non-Resident Telugu Society in the village. Murthy said that he took initiative to help the growth and welfare of his village under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Ravi said the NRTs are currently contributing to upgrade school infrastructure and set up RO plant as part of smart village programme. He said the objective was to ensure maximum number of villages and schools in Andhra Pradesh be adopted for all-round development.
