Amaravati: Agriculture minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy reacted on the criticism by YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan.

Chandramohan Reddy said that it was not correct to resort to personal criticism in the political life, at a press conference at the Secretariat on Wednesday. The Minister said that as the Tuesday’s bandh of YSRCP failed, Jaganmohan Reddy was speaking with frustration.

In fact the controversy began with the Pawan Kalyan statement against the YSRCP recently. He stated that, “If he had members in the Parliament and Assembly like that of the YSRCP, then he would not allow his members to resign.

In addition to that he would fight against the Centre in the Lok Sabha.” Reacting to this, Jaganmohan Reddy criticised Pawan Kalyan that he had been changing his wives for every four to five years, like one changes cars.

On this ongoing controversy, senior TDP leader Chandramohan Reddy said that Jagan was not supposed to criticise Pawan Kalyan on personal grounds. He said, “Forget about Pawan Kalyan, we (TDP) have been questioning you (Jagan) that why did you force your Lok Sabha members to resign to their posts.

They were supposed to fight against the Central government. In addition to that, you are not allowing your party MLAs and MLCs to attend the Assembly. You have to answer for all these questions.” The Minister said Jagan was playing political dramas instead of fighting against the Central government.

“When the entire country was focusing attention on AP, the YSRCP Lok Sabha members were roaming on the streets of New Delhi and TDP leaders were questioning the Central government on AP Reorganisation Act,” he added. The behaviour of Jagan was exposing his lack of maturity in politics, he said.
