Tirupati: TDP general secretary and APSRTC chairman Varla Ramaiah asked the state government to expel YSRCP senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy from the state as he has been indulging in continuous criticism on the government and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in abusive language.

Speaking at the party coordination committee meeting here on Tuesday, he recalled that Telangana government had expelled Swamy Paripoornananda and Kathi Mahesh from Hyderabad and on the same lines Vijayasai should be sent out of the State. Minister for Transport K Atchannaidu, Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy, ZP Chairperson S Geervani, MLAs S Sankar and M Suguna, TDP district president Pulivarthi Nani and Secretary G Narasimha Yadav were present.

Later speaking to the media, the Ministers and Polit Bureau member Galla Aruna Kumari have opined that there is no need for observing a bandh for Special Category Status since bandhs will bring inconvenience to the people and loss to the State.

Without agitating in Delhi, the YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been playing dramas in AP along with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Both of them have been working under the direction of BJP and that is the reason for the failure of Bandh, they flayed.

They observed that the `Grama Darshini’ programme implemented by the party was a success and in the district they have completed it in all constituencies except in Chittoor where it will be held soon. The problems listed out during ‘Grama Darsini’ will be discussed at district level and they would be  incorporated in the party manifesto. The leaders claimed that people have responded in a big way when they visit various villages.
