Srikakulam: BJP-led government at the Centre has been creating hurdles for development of AP state by colluding with YSRCP, charged TDP state president and Minister for Energy Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao.

He participated in Grama Darsini and Grama Vikasam programmes at Ibrahimbad and Pudivalasa villages in Etcherla mandal on Thursday.

Addressing a meeting on the occasion he expressed his displeasure  over the BJP’s attitude towards AP to satisfy YSRCP. BJP has been  creating hurdles for development of state by not granting assured funds and has failed to fulfil assurances made during state division, he said.

With a commitment for AP development, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been taking up construction of irrigation projects, welfare schemes though Central government bore grudge against AP, the minister stated. To protest Central government attitude towards AP, we have decided to organise Dharma Porata Sabhalu across the state, Rao announced.

First Dharma Porata Sabha will be conducted soon in Prakasam district with one lakh people,  Venkata Rao elaborated. People are very happy in AP with the  implementation of various welfare schemes by the TDP government and they are responding positively towards TDP government, the minister explained.

He predicted that TDP will retain power again in 2019. YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy is trying to create unrest in the state to come to power in 2019 elections,  but people are wise and will teach a lesson to him, he warned.
