Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the TDP MPs to continue their fight against the Centre and carry forward the spirit to public. Addressing the MPs through tele-conference here on Friday, Naidu asked the MPs to attend Dharmaporata Sabha to be held in Ongole on July 28 and inform people about their fight in Parliament.

Praising the efforts of MPs in moving no-confidence motion against the Centre, Naidu said the people of the state were also satisfied about their agitation in Parliament. Stating that the MPs have utilised every opportunity and the same spirit should be continued until we get justice to the state, Naidu said. As the next two days are holidays, he said the MPs should share their views with people over the injustice done to the state.

He said the TDP would not leave the BJP for its injustice done to the state and criticised the BJP for not fulfilling the promises and assurances made in the AP Reorganisation Act.  He asked the MPs to get ready for agitation against the Centre. Stating that the BJP changed its stand, Naidu said however, the TDP would never leave the issues till AP gets justice.

The Centre reversed Rs 3,500 crore after releasing the same to the state, Naidu said and added the BJP did not implement even a single promise. The Centre was showing partiality towards state while giving permits to Chennai Metro Corridor, Mumbai-Delhi Corridor and Rajasthan Petro Complex.

He reminded that the Centre released funds for Dolera city while neglecting funds for Amaravati city and Kakinada petro complex. He alleged the BJP was tarnishing the image of TDP by colluding with the YSRCP and Jana Sena Party.

He wondered as to how YSRCP gave an agitation call when the TDP proposed to conduct Dharmaporta Sabha in Ongole. He said the people were watching the developments closely and give their judgment in favour of justice.
