Ensure 10K monthly income to each family: AP CM

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Sadhikara Mitras should take initiative for economic development of women by preparing an action plan to provide Rs 10,000 income per month for each family.

He said that the State government is committed to the welfare of women. Interacting with Sadhikara Mitras at the Grievance Hall at Undavalli on Friday, the Chief Minister said that clinical testing equipment would be set up at the Secretariat in the first phase to monitor the health of employees. The equipment provides instant data of blood samples and diabetes.

Earlier, several Sadhikara Mitras explained their experiences in implementation of welfare programmes in their respective villages. Sadhikara Mitra, Madasu Kumari of Nidumukkala village, gave a power point presentation on economic condition of all the 35 families entrusted to her. Impressed with her presentation, the Chief Minster assured to solve all the issues raised by her.

Another Sadhikara Mitra, G Nirmala of Rayanapadu village, explained her initiative to develop all 35 families entrusted to her. Later, the Chief Minister felicitated the Sadhikara Mitras, who excelled in discharging their duties.

He said Sadhikara Mitras should take initiative to solve the problems in their villages by actively participating in Grama Darsini programme. He assured them to implement the welfare programmes for the benefit of women. AP Mahila Commission chairperson N Raja Kumari, Principal Secretary Udaya Lakshmi and several officials were also present.
