Amaravani School pays rich tributes to APJ Abdul Kalam

Vuyyuru: Amaravani English Medium School here on Friday observed  the death of anniversary of former President APJ Abdul Kalam; celebrated Guru Poornima and conducted an event on the importance of lunar eclipse, according to Principal V Nagaraju. In a statement here on Friday, the principal said the school paid rich tributes to Abdul Kalam on the occasion of his death of anniversary.

In the second event, Guru Poornima was celebrated to mark the birthday of Vyasa Maharshi, who was instrumental in writing the epic Mahabharat. As a mark of respect, the gurus would be felicitated on this day, the principal said.

In the third event, the teachers briefed the students on observing the lunar eclipse which provides an opportunity to learn and view more about it on night.Director P Nandakumar and Sanskrit pandit NS Murthy participated in the programmes. Elocution competition on
