Need for adapting to supply chain practices underscored

Visakhapatnam: Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Visakhapatnam branch, organised a one-day national conclave on ‘Shaping future supply chain for business excellence’ here on Friday.

Inaugurating the conclave, Chairman cum Managing Director of RINL Raychaudhury gave an overview on ‘Shaping of future supply chain for business excellence’ and also on ‘Industry 4.0 opportunities and challenges to be encountered on emerging innovative technologies’. The CMD emphasised the need for adapting to good supply chain practices for the benefit of the organisations.

GK Singh, National President of IIMM, P Mahendra Kumar, Vice- President (South),  N Udayabhanu, Chairman, IIMM, Visakhaptnam Chapter, were present on the occasion.

Founder Members of IIMM, CSN Raju, former executive director (Commercial) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and GS Reddy, former general manager and B Durga Prasad, course director, IIMM Visakhapatnam, were felicitated by the CMD of RINL.
