Andhra University VC calls on Indian Coast Guard Addl. DG VSR Murthy

Visakhapatnam:  As a part of his New Delhi tour, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University Prof G Nageswara Rao met Additional Director General of Indian Coast Guard (ICG) VSR Murthy on Saturday.  

VSR Murthy was an alumnus of Andhra University. On the occasion, VSR Murthy said that Coast Guard personnel would immensely benefit by the courses being offered by the Andhra University affiliated to maritime, oceanography and also management related courses. 

He informed the Vice-Chancellor that he would send officers to university to understand the requirements needed for the Coast Guard personnel.

The Vice-Chancellor briefed the defence courses being offered to Army, Navy and Airforce personnel. 

He informed that the university can also offer diploma courses in maritime and oceanography branches.
