BJP misleading people on railway zone: Renuka
Vijayawada: TDP official spokesperson Mullapudi Renuka said that the BJP-led NDA government was misleading the people of Andhra Pradesh pertaining to railway zone at Vishakhapatnam and on the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act during the Parliament sessions.
She reminded that the BJP government made it clear in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court that a railway zone at Vishakhapatnam was not viable financially.
Addressing media at TDP office here on Sunday, Renuka came down heavily on BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao for making baseless comments against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. She said Naidu was committed to the development of AP and the government was spending Rs 390 crore for mega food park at Donakonda in Prakasam district.
She mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to fulfil the promises made in 2014 election campaign in AP and alleged that the Union government had withdrawn Rs 350 crore after allocating the amount to the state for backward districts development fund.
She said that the YSRCP and Jana Sena leaders should support Chandrababu Naidu to put pressure on the BJP government to achieve Special Category Status and other pending projects.
