Budha Amaranath Yatra from Aug 16

Ongole: The Bajrang Dal is organising the Budha Amaranath Yatra from August 16, announced the Vishva Hindu Parishad regional coordinator Parre Koteswara Rao. 

The members of the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal inaugurated the posters of tour in Ongole on Sunday.

In the meeting held at the Vasavi Vidyanidhi Aryavaisya Boys Hostel, the Vishva Hindu Parishad Prakasam district president announced that the central committee of the organization appointed the executive committee of the district unit. 

He said that Divi Lingaiah Naidu is appointed as the honorary president, Tanguturi Ramaiah as the executive president, Gattupalli Mallikharjuna Sarma as the secretary, Nune Ramanjaneyulu as the treasurer, Pitchaiah Chowdary as the district Bajrang Dal pramukh and others in the remaining key positions.

Parre Koteswara Rao, the coordinator of Vishva Hindu Parishad announced that the Bajrang Dal was organizing the Budha Amaranath Yatra to Sphatika Linga Temple on the bank of Pulasthi river in Rajapura village of Mandi taluk in Punch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, since 2005. 

He said that the yatra was being organised to boost morale of the locals from the fear of terrorists and to provide the darshan of Sphatika Linga for thousands of people. 

He announced that this year, the tour will start from August 16 and ends on 24 and released the posters and pamphlets of the same.
