Chandrababu Naidu to launch Bala Sanjeevani today at Gudivada village
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will launch a new scheme ‘Bala Sanjeevani’ which is aimed to provide nutritious food to the pregnant women, mothers and the children of below 6 years old. The Chief Minister will launch the scheme at ‘Grama Darsini’ programme to be held at Gudivada village in S Rayavaram mandal in the district on Tuesday.
Over 20,350 pregnant women and 5,950 children would be benefited under the scheme in the district. The district administration has made elaborate arrangement to launch the scheme. District Collector Pravin Kumar said the Chief Minister would come to the Gudivada village by chopper and launch the ‘Bala Sanjeevani’ scheme.
Naidu will also inaugurate digital classrooms developed at a cost of Rs 2.5 lakh at Kotha Polavaram village in the mandal followed by the inauguration of Anganwadi centre constructed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, the collector said. The Chief Minister would also inaugurate 114 houses constructed at a cost of Rs 2.40 crore and NTR village park established at a cost of Rs 2.75 lakh in the village, the collector said.
After the lunch, the Chief Minister would participate in a series of programmes and lay foundation stone to some schemes to the tune of Rs 70.78 crore, the collector said.
