Tirupati: With rising incidences of sexual assault against young children in the society, Sri City cops with the assistance of Sri City Foundation has been educating girl students in the region on ‘good touch-bad touch’.

As a part of this awareness programme, a lecture was held at Sri City’s Siemens Technical Skill Development Institute (SSTSDI) on Monday in which a batch of 50 school girls were apprised of good touch and bad touch by the DSP Vimala Kumari.

DSP said that they need not be afraid of anyone, and if they come across such incidents of bad touch, advised them to inform to the parents and complain to the police.

The students, who belong to the AP Social Welfare Residential School (Gurukul Patashala), Sullurpet are undergoing a ten-day skill foundation course at SSTSDI. Sri City Foundation Manager Surendra Kumar, Sri City police station Sub-Inspector Subba Reddy were also present.
