Hepatitis screening tests in Telugu states

Vijayawada: To create awareness on viral hepatitis, ‘Save the Liver Foundation’ was organising an awareness programme in both the Telugu-speaking states.

Speaking to media after releasing the free screening test and campaign poster at a private hotel here on Sunday, founder of Save the Liver Foundation Dr K S Somasekhar Rao said that to mark the World Hepatitis Day, the Foundation will conduct screening tests in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.

Dr Rao said they would announce multiple locations in high prevalent zones all over AP and Telangana where tests for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C conducted free of cost.

To achieve a hepatitis-free world, the Foundation was educating the people through awareness programmes, he said. He asked the people to dial 94929 48899 or 738277 8899 for screening and treatment in Telugu states. Former minister Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao was also present.
