Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam to hold lecture on BIG scheme today

Tirupati: The SSIIE-Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati will be  organising a lecture on “Writing successful proposals for BIG (Biotechnology Ignition Grant Scheme)” by Dr  D Viswsanadham from IKP Knowledge Park, Hyderabad.

It will be held at varsity’s Saveri seminar hall on Monday from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. As BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council), Govt. of India invites applications for 13thCall Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) where projects will get funding up to Rs.50 lakhs as grant.  Last date for submission of proposals is August 16, 2018.

SSIIE-TBI, SPMVV has MoU with IKP Knowledge Park, Hyderabad and Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman & CEO of IKP is on the Advisory Board of SSIIE-TBI, Tirupati. Proposals are to be routed through SSIIE-TBI, SPMVV, Tirupati. For further details interested candidates may visit www.spmvv-tbi.com. In earlier round, one out of eight proposals submitted through SSIIE-TBI, SPMVV, Tirupati got selected across pan-India selection process with a grant of Rs.50 lakh. 

The selected proposal was by Prof VV Lakshmi of SPMVV. In this regard, CEO of SSIIE-TBI Y Mallikarjuna Reddy informs the aspirants to make use of this event.  Also, start-up proposals can be mailed to ceo.spmvv@gmail.com.
