Sumedha District cabinet installation organised

Vijayawada: Former MLC Lion Chigurupati Varaprasad was the chief guest at the 21st Sumedha District Cabinet Installation programme organised at a private function hall on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that there were many poor families in society and one should feel the responsibility to help the needy.
He said that NGOs, donors, NRIs should actively participate in these activities.

The club district governor, A Kotireddy said that Lions Club had organised ‘Vidya Seva’ programme to create service motto among people.

Treasurer B Koteswara Rao and other executive body members were sworn in as the new member in the presence of Varaprasad.  

Sewing machines and grinders were distributed to women, tricycles were given to physically challenged. Cycles, books and bags were distributed to students.

M Srimannarayana of Madhura Bharati, Lion ERP Subhash Babu, Lion DSSV Varma and others were present.
