Chandrababu Naidu to interact with students

Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in a programme ‘Gnana Bhumi’ in which 10,000 students representing all universities in the district will take part.

Disclosing the details of the Chief Minister’s visit to temple city on August 4 to the media here on Tuesday, District Collector PS Pradyumna has said that Naidu would inaugurate housing colony at Daminedu on that day.

Later, he would participate in the Gnana Bhumi programme at Sri Venkateswara University’s Tarakarama Stadium in which he would interact with students to know their future plans. This programme was designed to motivate students that they can achieve anything by having self-confidence. 

Already academic, talent, sports events are being conducted in all educational institutions in the district and the selected candidates would receive applause from the Chief Minister during the programme.

Government’s achievements like Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project through which linkage of rivers was completed successfully in the state for the first time in the country, progress in Polavaram Project, street lighting, CC roads etc., will be displayed on LED screen at the stadium. 

On the occasion of Gnana Bhumi programme, about 70 stalls would be set up at the stadium on various government schemes, food stalls, job mela etc., from which students get information about schemes that will benefit them. Tirupati Municipal Corporation Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju and RDO G Narasimhulu took part.
