Technology expo at MJCET

Banjar Hills: An Orientation Programme was held at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) on Tuesday. Secretary, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Navin Mittal addressed the students of MJCET.

Navin said, “The new curriculum will focus more on practical courses than theory. The curriculum will also increase the number of credit hours an engineering graduate needs to undertake from 90 to 150 hours. 

Students should gain more practical knowledge since it is the only thing that differentiates a good engineer from the rest. 

Students should Imbibe the traits of Science, Engineering and Technology, together which form our way of life.”

Secretary, Sultan Ul Uloom Education Society (SUES) Zafar Javeed said, “Using technology and modern tools to assess student performance and help them excel in not just academics but multiple dimensions in today’s continuously evolving world of challenges.”

College students displayed project works in the technology expo and performed a anti-ragging play to welcome the first year students. 

SUES Chairman Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan Lateef Khan, Principal Sitaramaiah and members Akbar Ali Khan, Secretary Nisar Ahmed, Members Amir Javeed and Anupama Koneru were present during the occasion.
