AP Govt to promote sea tourism

Amaravati: Tourism department Principal Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena directed the officials to take measures to allow constructions on seashore as per the Environment Protection Act. Conducting a review meeting with the higher officials at the Secretariat here on Friday, he said that tourism facilities should be created by strictly following the Act.  

He asked officials to ensure that there was no violation of guidelines. The Tourism department should explain the guidelines and protection of nature to the tourists, he said. He asked the officials to submit the report in a week.  The meeting also discussed the industrial and police tourism. Tourism Department Director Himanshu Shukla and several officials were also present.
