Learn value-based education, students were addressed by KL Vara Prasad Reddy
Guntur: Shanta Biotechnics Private Limited founder KL Vara Prasad Reddy said youth should grow from employee to employer and learn value-based education, which is the secret of success.
He addressed a meeting held at Vignan University at Vadlamudi on Saturday, on the occasion of sixth convocation of the university.
He stressed on the need to learn technical skills to face competition. He urged the youth not to forget their native place, mother tongue, parents and teachers.
Veteran film director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao said youth should dream about their future and do hard work to achieve their goals. He felt that country needs youth having skills and added that youth should become partners in the nation development.
Padmasri award recipient Dr Kutikuppala Surya Rao felt that youth should have talent to face challenges and stressed on need to improve skills.
Vignan Group chairman Dr Lavu Rathaiah said that youth should learn value-based education and added that those who received degrees in the Vignan University were ordinary students.
Due to scientific teaching, the students were getting skills. He said 80 per cent of the youth studying in the Vignan were getting placements.
Earlier, the university conferred honorary doctorates to Shanta Biotechnics Private Limited founder KL Vara Prasad Reddy, veteran film director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Padmasri award recipient Dr Kutikuppala Surya Rao and felicitated them.
Vignan Educational Institutions vice-chairman Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu was also present.
