Undi: Narasapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju has said rural areas are being developed because of liberal funding from the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. Funds are being  released under the Central government schemes such as National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and other grants.

Accompanied by Undi MLA Vetukuri Venkata Sivaramaru the MP took part in various development programmes at his adopted village of Mahadevapatnam village of Undi mandal on Sunday. He inaugurated some programmes and laid foundation stone for several development works.

He also said that individual toilets, national rural drinking water scheme and Hudco funds had helped in benefiting people below poverty line (BPL). He appreciated the adopted village president Juttiga Srinivas and board members for good services to the people and proper utilisation of the funds.
