AP Unaided school managements to hold seminar in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Unaided Schools Management Association (APUSMA) would organise a two-day state seminar and general body meeting on August 11 and 12 at Tummalapalli Kalaskshetram here to discuss the problems faced by the managements of the unaided schools in the state.

Addressing the media, APUSMA spokesperson K Tulasi Prasad said that on August 11, the chief guest of the programme would be HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao and the guest of honour would be MLC Dr AS Rama Krishna, special chief secretary higher and school education Aditya Nath Das, school education commissioner K Sandhya Rani, joint director MV Krishna Reddy and others.

He said that about 800 representatives of APUSMA from 175 constituencies would participate and discuss at length on the various issues related to 21st century teaching and learning strategies. They will discuss issues related to CCE examination pattern, 20 percent internal marks, taxes imposed on school bus transport, arrangement of CCTVs for Class X board examination and other issues at the 2-day seminar, he added. APUSMA president A Krishna Reddy, honorary president V Janardhan Reddy, general secretary G Pullaiah and others were president.
