One gets lifer in murder case

Vijayawada: The local court in Machilipatnam has awarded life imprisonment to Madivada Sankar, a notorious rowdy-sheeter in Machilipatnam, in connection with a murder case.

According to Machilipatnam police, Madivada Sankar had a dispute with Gandham Venkateswara Rao over finance business and he brutally stabbed him to death on November 27, 2012. Chilakalapudi police booked a case and began the probe.

While delivering the judgment the court also asked him to pay fine of Rs 5,000. Sankar was a notorious criminal and booked for many offences in the port town.
