Engineering students to be trained through Dassault Systems

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) MD and CEO K Sambasiva Rao has said that the APSSDC under Centurion University through Dassault Systems will enable students of 53 engineering colleges across the state to get ready for the three sectors viz, marine, aerospace and automobile in design.

KL University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, hosted the Rool Out session of APSSDC - Dassault System 3D Experience Center, for 53 engineering colleges. The session was inaugurated by CEO K Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering, he said that APSSDE was conducting many skill training programmes and will provide training in artificial intelligence in the days to come. 

In current situation, skills other than education were available in the market, including training in certification courses with leading companies such as Google, Amazon, Zoho and NSE. 

He said that this year, two lakh people have been trained in various courses, including Siemens, Dassault, Gaming, and they are aiming to create more than 70 per cent jobs, he added.

KL University vice-chancellor Dr LSS Reddy said that they offer the students the best skill training, connecting all the courses and providing special skills training to students as effective engineers.

Resource persons of Dassault Systems, Dr G Ravi Kumar CGM and T Anil Kumar, ED of APSSDC, principals, chairmen of 53 engineering colleges were present.
