BJP accuses TDP of corrupt practices

Anantapur: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) stands exposed in the election of Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha as it had voted in favour of Congress nominee, said BJP district president Ankal Reddy. Addressing a press conference here, Reddy said that the myth that BJP is not having majority in Rajya Sabha has been exposed with the election of its nominee.

The opportunistic policy of TDP has also been exposed with the party having different approaches in AP and at the Centre towards the Congress.  On the PD accounts imbroglio, the BJP district president said that the TDP government has opened 58,000 personal accounts and has been depositing the government funds into the accounts instead of routing the funds through the Treasury. He alleged that the TDP was misusing the interest amount on the funds and indulging in corrupt practices.
