Govt flayed for ignoring tribals
Rajamahendravaram: SC/ST leaders S Gannayya and E Srinivas have said that the government is showing step-motherly attitude towards tribals in the state.
Addressing tribal girl students at government college grounds in connection with International Adivasi Day here on Thursday, they said still tribals were facing many problems in the agency areas.
The government was not providing minimum facilities for them. The government should develop agency areas, instead of spending
crores of rupees for development activities in other parts of the state, they opined.
Students Federation of India (SFI) leader B Pavan, B Raju and V Rambabu said the government was not providing quality medical aid and education to tribal students instead of repeated requests.
