Amaravati: As a counter to the BJP’s criticism, TDP State president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao on Thursday lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top leaders of the party.

Venkata Rao wrote an open letter to BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana on Thursday and the same was released to the Press. He criticised Lakshminarayana for doing no favour to Andhra Pradesh after becoming the State president of the BJP. He alleged that Lakshminarayana was playing the role of a mediator between BJP and YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

When the entire public and different political parties have been staging protests against the BJP in the State, the BJP leaders were trying to divert the attention of people by bringing in issues like PD Accounts and other unnecessary issues. Venkata Rao asked Lakshminarayana to respond over the allegations of his involvement in the corruption scams in which YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was named as the No.1 accused.

The TDP leader said Lakshminarayana received notices from the CBI for his alleged support to Jagan. He also demanded that the BJP leadership should provide details to people pertaining to the Rafale deal.

He also wondered how the turnover of the company owned by BJP national president Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah suddenly went up by 16,000 times. Venkata Rao raised total 12 points in his letter to Kanna and demanded that he should give replies to the issues raised.
