SRKR inks pact with German institute

Bhimavaram: The management of SRKR Engineering College entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German Centre for Engineering and Management Studies to establish Indo-German Centre of Excellence, Innovation and Technologies Management, on the college premises here on Friday. 

The MoU was signed and exchanged by the representatives of Germany University Dr Bertram Lohmuller and Petra Lohmuller and Dr V Venkata Nagaraju and S Vittal Ranga Rao of SRKR Engineering College.

Dr Bertram said that Federal Ministry of Education and Research Division, Germany would take special care in this research programme. 

He said that this would establish tie-ups to do research work at universities and industries in the country. He said that this research programme would build new research relations between India and Germany and benefit the students. 

He said that this new technology would benefit both students and the faculty as the German International Organisation was interested in research works in India, he added.

Vittal Rranga Rao said that Germany has a good reputation in automobile field and signing MoU with that organisation would help the students in many ways.
