MEDICO SUICIDE : Reinstate Ramanaiah as SVMC Principal, demands Dalitha Mahasabha

Tirupati: Leaders of the Dalitha Mahasabha have condemned the action against Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC) Principal Dr NV Ramanaiah saying that it was unfair as he was not involved in any way in Dr Shilpa’s suicide. 

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, the leaders have said, Dalit and OBC doctors have been subjected to gross injustice in the episode and they asked the government to reinstate Ramanaiah as Principal of SVMC immediately. 

They alleged that with the conspiracy of some persons belong to upper castes, Dr Ramanaiah, Dr Kireeti and Dr Ravi Kumar have become victims. 

They also demanded to revoke the suspension on Dr Ravi Kumar and transfer order of Dr Kireeti and post them in SVMC again. 

Dalitha Mahasabha leaders Puthalapattu Prabhakar, Tejovathi, Muni Sobha, OBC leaders T Gopal Yadav, Savithri Yadav and Santhi Yadav were present.
