Yuva Bhavans to train unemployed: Kollu

Tirupati: Minister for sports, law and justice Kollu Ravindra said the government will construct Yuva Bhavans with Rs 5 crore in all the districts to provide skill development training for youth so that they can secure jobs in IT industries.

Speaking to media here on Sunday, he said 1.86 crore youth between 15-35 years would be trained under the youth policy being implemented for their benefit. 

He said the Yuva Bhavans will have facilities for recreation, counselling, computer lab with internet among other things. Various debates, seminars, workshops and sports activities will be held for the benefit of youth, he added.

The minister said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been giving utmost priority for IT companies even when he was heading the united AP and for that reason world famous IT companies have come to Hyderabad.

His vision was to make AP a knowledge hub and steps are being taken towards this goal, he added. Ravindra said NTR Kreeda Vikasa Kendras are being built in all constituencies with Rs 2 crores each and added efforts were on to build mini-stadiums in mandal headquarters.

The sports grounds in schools are being developed by spending Rs 7.5 lakh with the cooperation of Panchayat Raj and IT minister Nara Lokesh, the minister said. 

To prepare youth for Olympics, the government has been implementing Gandiva Scheme and those exhibit good performance will be trained specially in the state capital, the minister said.
