60 cr for CC roads in Rajampet segment

Kadapa: As part of ongoing Gramadarsini and Grama Vikasam programme, Rajampet MLA and government Whip M.Mallikarjuna Reddy has participated in various developmental activities in Adapuru, Chennagari palli villages of Nandaluru mandal on Sunday.

He laid foundation stone for the construction of CC Road in Adapuru village and for  Panchayat building and  distributed cheques under Chief Minister Relief Fund to the beneficiaries in Chennagari palli village.

On the occasion, he said as part of rural connectivity programme, government is giving top priority for the construction of roads in the villages to develop marketing facilities. He said that government has sanctioned Rs 60 crores for construction of roads in Rajampet constituency.

Nandaluru has been selected one among the 300 mandals in the country and was sanctioned Rs 300 crores for various developmental works. While recalling drinking water problem in the mandal, he said Rs 56 crores were sanctioned for lift irrigation scheme which was aimed to provide water for several villages through Somasila back waters.

He said Rs 84 lakhs worth cheques were distributed to the beneficiaries under CMRF in the constituency on Sunday. With the aim of providing employment to the un employed youth, Skill Development programme has been organised in Nandaluru mandal head quarters.

On this occasion, MLA has distributed house site pattas to the 17 beneficiaries under NTR Housing scheme out of 126 sanctioned in Adapuru village. Party rural president Subrahmanyam,  party leaders Bapanaiah Naidu, Lakshminarayana, Dorababu and others were present.
