Training for SC/ST entrepreneurs

Amaravati: The state government strengthened the process of training of SC and ST entrepreneurs under ‘Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme and Skill Development Programme in which the training programmes will be organised at free of cost.

Commissioner of industries Siddharth Jain said in a release on Monday that the training for the SC and ST entrepreneurs will be given in reputed institutions like EDI, IGIAT, NI-MSME.

The commissioner said the training programmes will be implemented in two forms; one being the Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme and the other being Residential Skill Development Programme.

The entrepreneurship development programme will be held for two weeks and the skill development imparts training for the entrepreneurs in two to three months.
