Rain spoils Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Salur
Vizianagaram: The continuous rains in the district spoiled the arrangements made by the district administration for the visit of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Salur constituency on August 14.
According to sources, the Chief Minister has to participate in a grama sabha and a public meeting held at Salur constituency on August 14. Collector Hari Jawaharlal, ministers Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao and Ganta Srinivasa Rao and other MLAs have visited the areas where the CM programme was finalised. The district administration has also made elaborate arrangements for Naidu’s visit.
They brought water-proof tents and others too. But the continuous rains in the area affected the tour and finally the administration was forced to postpone the entire programme to August 25.
