Australia India Business Council keen to invest in healthcare in state
Visakhapatnam: Australia India Business Council (AIBC) wants to associate with Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) to explore and invest in the field of healthcare and education in the state through mutual understanding and transfer of technical know-how, said G Sambasiva Rao, President of APCCIF.
Sambasiva Rao welcomed Margaret Faux, Founder and CEO, Synapse Medical Services and Chairman of Health Committee of AIBC, who arrived in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
While meeting the CEOs of the corporate hospitals in the health city, hub of medical treatment with well-equipped diagnostic facilities catering to all specialties of treatment in Visakhapatnam, Margaret Faux appreciated the state government’s innovative ideas for improving accessibility to quality healthcare services for many underprivileged people through harnessing the private sector by providing largest health insurance schemes. She is keen to formally partner and explore areas of investments where they might be able to assist one another’s growth strategies over the coming years in the state.
Synapse Medical Services already functioning in Chennai, which specialises in handling outsourcing operations, including managing bill payments, maintenance of patient records, processing insurance claims and virtual receptionist for fixing appointments with doctors and insurance companies for health care organisation in the US, Australia, the UK and the UAE.
