Impart quality education to students: Collector to principals

Kurnool: District Collector, S Sathyanarayana said that teachers of government schools should strive to impart quality education to students and make them to become better citizens of the society. He reviewed a meeting on education with the education department officials at Collector’s office here on Tuesday.

The Collector, on the occasion, suggested the head masters to pay special attention on the students who have been studying by staying at welfare hostels. Teachers should approach in a friendly manner with the students. It should be responsibility of the teachers to ensure the students are well disciplined and good mannered.

The teaches have to educate them how to keep themselves neat and clean besides maintaining tidy environments at the hostel premises, stated the Collector. Sathyanarayana further suggested that teachers have to infuse awareness about the society besides imparting education. Teaching through digital and virtual class rooms is also a must to students.

Teachers must maintain timings during school hours. Everyone has to follow biometric system or else action would be initiated, he warned. Head masters and hostel wardens have to treat the students similar to  their own children.  The students will always remember the teacher who has laid paths for their bright future, added the Collector.
