Procession with huge national flag

Gudur (Nellore): A day before Independence Day, several students in Gudur town organised a massive  procession carrying with 1000-metre-long national flag on Tuesday. Members of My Friends Association participated in the event raising slogans for national integrity and stressing on the need for patriotism.

Honorary president of the Association K Sunil Kumar said the youngsters have planned to inculcate patriotic feelings among local population as the Independence Day is respected by one and all. He said it is responsibility of the people to remember leaders who sacrificed their lives to get Independence to the country from British rulers.
