Water storage begins in Hiramandal reservoir

Srikakulam: The total storage capacity of the Hiramandal reservoir  is 19.05 tmc feet and on an experiment basis, water storage began at the reservoir on Tuesday. Water from the Vamsadhara river was diverted from side weir at Katragada in Bhamini mandal. Speaking on the occasion, minister assured to supply water for both the crops from the reservoir after finishing all the works.
