AP State will be top by 2029, says Ganta

Vizianagaram: Minister for HRD and In-charge of Vizianagaram district Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the state is achieving extraordinary growth rate in all aspects and it would be at the top position by 2029 in the country due to untired efforts of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. 

He hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day celebrations here on Wednesday. He received guard of honour from the Armed Forces and addressed the gathering. Though the state is struggling with financial deficit after bifurcation of the state, the Chief Minister is overcoming every hurdle with his experience and commitment, he pointed out. 

“The government has linked the technology with welfare schemes and implementing without any flaws. Biometric system is implemented in offices and at ration depots to regularise the services there. We have completed the Thotapalli project and brought thousands of acres into farming”, he said. 

The Janjavathi project was completed and providing water to 24,700 acres. Thousands of water tanks are developed under Neeru-Chettu programme. Health, education, horticulture and agriculture departments are given equal priority and sanctioning enough funds for the implementation of the schemes.

Out of 2,625 acres, 87 per cent of lands were acquired so far for Bhogapuram International Airport and the displaced are being provided facility under the rehabilitation scheme. Collector Hari Jawaharlal, Superintendent of Police P Palaraju, MLAs and others participated in the programme.
