Andhra University officials planning to make ‘Jnana Bheri’ a success
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University officials are leaving no stone unturned to make ‘Jnana Bheri’ a grand success. They are reportedly inviting students to take part in the innovative cultural programme by encouraging them to showcase their skills and projects. Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao conducted a review meeting with all the heads of departments and staff on Tuesday.
The Vice-Chancellor ordered the heads of departments and staff to mobilise the students to participate in cultural, sports, essay writing, debates and other programmes. He further stated that the student participation will help in making the ‘Jnana Bheri’ programme a grand success.
The Andhra University officials are chalking out a plan to conduct district-level student competitions on August 19 at Andhra University convention hall which was located at the Beach Road.
The students of various areas in the district will be divided into seven zones for various competitions among college students. Competitions will be conducted in 10 categories; first prize worth Rs 1 lakh will be awarded while second comprises Rs 50,000 and third prize consisting of Rs 25,000.
