BJP questions Naidu’s ‘cozying up’ to Congress
Vijayawada: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana asked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as to how the Congress has become a good party for him in a period of four years.
Participating in the Independence Day celebrations at the state BJP office here on Wednesday, Lakshminarayana alleged that the Chief Minister was working for his own interests. He recalled that Naidu termed the Congress as betrayer during the election campaign in 2014 elections.
The BJP president also asked the Chief Minister to reveal the details of money which was donated to My Brick-My Amaravati by people instead of boasting in the name of Amaravati Bonds. He also demanded details of expenditure of funds which were given by the Centre.
He said that Naidu was tarnishing the name of TDP founder late NT Rama Rao. Praising the health scheme Ayushman Bharat launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that 10 crore people would benefit under the scheme.
The Centre released funds for various welfare schemes, especially in rural areas, he added and found fault with the Chief Minister for not praising the single scheme of the Centre.

The Centre provided minimum support price to crops in all the states, he said and added that the BJP government was working for the development of all the communities.
He greeted the people on the occasion of Independence Day. MP Gokaraju Ganga Raju, BJP leaders D Sambaiah, Kavita, Satyamurthi, Jammula Shyam Kishore, Suresh Reddy and S Raju were also present.
