Rains to continue in coastal AP
Visakhapatnam: Under the influence of the depression over the Bay of Bengal, rains will continue in the coming next 24-hours across the coastal Andhra Pradesh region. Tuesday’s low pressure developed into a depression in the Odisha coast. The depression is 30 km east south-east of Bhubaneswar by Wednesday night.
Under the influence of the depression, the condition of the sea is rough to very rough and fishermen are advised to be very cautious while
venturing into the sea across the coast. Strong surface wind predicted with a speed of 45 ato 55 kmph along the coast.
The depression is expected to cross Odisha coast on Thursday noon. Meanwhile, the IMD scientists predicted that another low pressure will be formed by August 18 and rains with heavy falls at isolated areas of North Coastal Andhra region on August 18 and 19.
