Unexpected phone call from CM to MLA NVSN Varma leaves villagers jubilant in Pithapuram

Pithapuram:  A phone call from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to local MLA NVSN Varma, while he was busy with the Grama Darsini programme on Sunday left the MLA confused and the villagers jubilant. 

The MLA visited B Prattipadu village as part of the Grama Darsini programme when he received a call on his mobile from the CM. 

He switched on the speaker when the CM insisted that he wants to speak to the villagers.

The CM addressed the villagers and asked the MLA to hold more meetings with women’s groups. 

He told the MLA to ensure that the TDP candidates is polled more votes by explaining government schemes. He asked the MLA to identify those sections from which the party nominee is expected to get more and more votes. 

The jubilant TDP leaders said that the village would poll 2300 votes in the next elections as against 1800 in the last elections. 

Varma told the CM that he had already held meetings with women’s groups, SaadhikaraMitras and the booth conveners. 

Earlier, the MLA toured B Prattipadu and assured women to convert the country roads in the village to CC roads and strive for developing drainages.
