Chandrababu Naidu to take part in Gnana Bheri on August 23

Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will attend to the Gnana Bheri programme which is slated for August 23. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao released a trophy and poster of Gnana Bheri at Andhra University Senate Hall here on Monday.

Addressing the media on the occasion, the minister said that the Gnana Bheri programme, originally scheduled to be held on August 20, had been postponed due to the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and was rescheduled on August 23.

In the programme, which is being held to encourage innovations skills among the students in the state, the Chief Minister will interact with the students who took part in various cultural, sports, essay writings, debates and in many other events.

Stating that the students should give their best regarding high-end  technology and techniques, he said participation of student would help in making the Gnana Bheri a grand success.

Andhra University officials are going to conduct district-level student competitions on August 23 at AU convention hall located at beach road. The students of various areas in the district will be divided in to seven zones for various competitions among  college students.

The competitions will be organised  in 10 categories each of which will have Rs 1 lakh as first prize, Rs 50,000 as second prize and Rs 25,000 as third prize.
