Left parties plan rally in Vijayawada on September 15
Rajamahendravaram: CPI state leader Ravula Venkaiah has underlined the need of a political alternative in the state for the development of the state and said CPI and CPM are working for that.
Speaking to reporters in the party office here on Monday, he said the Left parties were ready to work with likeminded parties in this regard. Under the aegis of Left parties, a bus yatra will be held between September 1 and 11 from Ichhapuram and Hindupuram.
The parties conducted many meetings across the state for students, youth, working fraternity, women, Dalits and others. They would organise a mammoth rally in Vijayawada on September 15.
They said that the Left parties designed all the protest programmes to bring awareness among the people about the ‘anti-people’ policies of state and Central governments.
They appealed to the partymen and people to participate in the proposed rally in Vijayawada on September 15.
CPI district secretary T Madhu, Nalla Rama Rao and others were present.
