SPDCL teams to Kerala for restoration of power
Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has dispatched a set of personnel to restore power supply which was severely disrupted due to the heavy floods in Kerala.
Three buses–one each from Kadapa, Nellore and Tirupati consisting of about 150 personnel left for that state on Monday. Addressing the employees here, APSPDCL CMD MM Naik said recalled that their staff had restored power supply on far footing during the time of ‘Hudhud’ cyclone in Visakhapatnam in 2014.
He exhorted staff to work with dedication in Kerala and also to restore power supply as early as possible and win the hearts of affected people. Chief Engineer K Nanda Kumar, Superintending Engineers DV Chalapathi, P Satyanarayana, K Nagaraju, Divisional Engineers N Narendranath, V Chandrasekhar and others were present.
