TDP using Gyana Bheri for vote banks

Vijayawada: The TDP government is organising Gyana Bheri to transform the students as their vote bank for the upcoming elections, alleged Shaik Salam Babu, YSRCP students wing state president.

Speaking to reporters, he blamed the ruling party for not inviting the Governor for the Gyana Bheri programme. He said that as the Governor would monitor all the activities of a University like Convocation, any meeting would be held with the permission or presence of the Governor.

But to the surprise of everyone, the CM did not call the Governor to the programme. He said that the programme without Governor’s presence would be a private meeting or a party meeting.

Stating that the vice-chancellors and registrars of the universities had become TDP agents, the YSRCP leader recalled that Venkateswara and Andhra University registrars and V-Cs had celebrated the birthday of Nara Lokesh. He said that everyday one new corrupt activity in the Vikrama Simhapuri University was coming out, he added.
