Prakasam Pantulu remembered on his Birth Anniversary

Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar has said that drawing inspiration from former chief minister Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu is a real tribute to him.

He participated in birth anniversary at Revenue Kalyana Mandapam here on Thursday. He reminded how Tanguturi fought against British rule and rendered services as a revenue minister and Chief Minister.

At a meeting held under the aegis of Forum for Better Bapatla in Bapatla,   Tahsildar T Vallaiah garlanded his photo and paid rich tributes to the great leader.

He said Tanguturi was a relentless freedom fighter and a great patriot who served the country for four decades.

The forum secretary, P C Sai Babu, Deputy Tahsildar G Sricharan, RI B Omkaram, staff and others participated.
