Stones laid for redesigning works of parks, playgrounds

Tirupati: City MLA Suguna, TUDA Chairman G Narasimha Yadav and Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) Commissioner V Vijay Rama Raju have jointly laid foundation stone for redesigning works of parks and playgrounds here on Friday.

The redesigning works for two parks and playgrounds were taken up at a cost of Rs 20 crore sanctioned under the smarty city project. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the state government is keen on developing Tirupati as smart city.

Narasimha Yadav has mentioned residents can have access for all the facilities free of cost once the works are completed. Vijay Rama Raju stated redesigning works will be completed within three months.

Later, they have inspected an Anna Canteen building under construction and directed the officials concerned to complete the construction works at the earliest. Municipal Engineer Chandrasekhar, TDP city president D Bhaskar Yadav and other officials were present.
