Congress leader Kondru Murali to join TDP soon
Srikakulam: Congress leader and former minister Kondru Murali Mohan will join TDP soon. According to sources, Murali is likely to join TDP either on August 31or September 2. For the last several months he has been discussing with TDP state president and minister for energy K Kala Venkata Rao on his entry. Finally TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu gave his nod for his entry.
He elected as MLA for the first time in 2004 with Congress ticket from Etcherla segment and elected second time from Rajam segment in SC reservation category in 2009. He worked as government whip and minister. Due to differences between TDP leaders in 2004, Murali. With entry of Murali Mohan into TDP, the political scene in Etcherla and Rajam segments may change considerably and will put check for K Pratibha Bharathi and K Atchannaidu groups in both segments.
At the same it will give a boost to K Kala Venkata Rao in both segments as he is representing from Etcherla and native of Rajam segment. “We are in discussions with our followers in both Etcherla and Rajam segments and collecting their opinions on it,” Kondru Murali Mohan told The Hans India when contacted him over phone on Saturday.
