Beautician Padma’s lover found dead

Vijayawada: Nutan Kumar, lover of beautician Padma and suspected attacker, was found dead near railway tracks in Nadendla mandal in Guntur district on Sunday. Police suspected Nutan Kumar had attacked Padma at Bapulapadu village in Krishna district on Friday.  

The 39-year-old woman had an extra-marital affair with Nutan Kumar, a private company employee. After brutally injuring her, he fled the village on Friday. Police formed four teams to nab the culprit. But his body was found near the railway tracks between Narasaraopet and Guntur Railway Stations on Sunday.

Padma, mother of two daughters, had deserted her husband Pilli Suryanarayana and was living with her younger daughter. The elder daughter was staying along with her husband in Eluru. Though the beautician deserted her husband four years ago, she continued speaking to him over phone. 

The attacker had intoxicated her by administering an injection and brutally attacked her. She struggled for life more than a day and finally she was shifted to Vijayawada government general hospital on Saturday morning. She was recovering .
